I purchased the socket organizers both in standard and metric. I did not put them in my new toolbox for about a year after I purchased them. I sure could have kicked myself for not putting them in the box sooner. Since I placed them in the drawers I wanted them in, I wish I hadn't waited so long to install them. Everybody that has seen my toolbox comments how neat it looks and how easy it is to find the right socket. Wish I had them back when I was wrenching for a living. Whoever invented this product is a pretty smart feller.
This socket organizer is just what I needed to get my sockets in order. I was constantly picking through the sockets, scattered in my tool chest drawer, to find the right size I needed. Now I can go right to it.

I had to get one of these organizers for my bottom tool chest .it made finding the right sockets that I need a lot faster then having to dig thru everything!worth the Money to get this item plus it looks really nice when you open the drawers and everything is were it is supposed to be .the kit comes with enough socket trays to fill two drawers in my 26 inch bottom chest cart .
bought this for my son. He had actually purchased a different one that was much lower quality. I went to sears and they had plenty in stock and he really likes this one.
I installed two sets in my Craftsman Edge tool storage. They are an exact fit for the 26" top tool chest or 26" bottom tool chest. They do not fit into the 42" top tool chest. Be sure to confirm the size of your drawers and compare to the size of the Organizer. Deep sockets will require a sufficiently deep drawer. The Organizer has storage for all sockets in Craftsman's 299 count Ultimate socket set, plus more. But it has no space for the 8 sided sockets. The plastic extensions provided are marginal. They do work, but I found them a bit difficult to install. Eventually, I determined using a hammer worked best. But not every hammer blow successfully pushed the plastic extension into its receptacle- multiple blows were needed. Three of the provided holes were too small to accept the socket. I will need to enlarge the hole. I have not yet done that alteration. I expect to use either a knife or other suitable cutting device or use a properly sized hole drill. The markings are clear but would be improved if they had a separate color, i.e., white. Painting the raised markings prior to installation would be useful, although a bit tedious. At about $25 each, they were relatively inexpensive. Installing the set with the attached extensions required me to partially remove the drawer in order to fit the Organizer in the drawer. It was necessary to slip each Organizer tray over the drawer's back lip before dropping into the drawer.

I can't really comment on the quality or usefulness of this product, because I ended up returning them to Sears. I write this review as a heads-up for others; these may not fit in your tool box. My Craftsman tool chest and cabinet are about 25 years old, and sadly, the drawers are not the same size as the "standard" drawers found on more recent Craftsman chests/cabinets. Also, the Craftsman "Home Tool Storage" chests/cabinets do not have the same dimensions as the rest of the Craftsman chests/cabinets. Make sure you check, and measure, before you purchase these(unlike me!).
