Overall

The SOCKET RACK,3/8"DR was a let down

The SOCKET RACK,3/8"DR was a let down when I compare it to the $0.99 versions I've had before. The chrome on the steel increased the size of the numb that locks the socket in place. Because it is a little larger it takes more effort to squeeze the sockets on and the chrome is flaking off. Because more force is needed to get the sockets on, one of the numbs on the rack I purchased has already bent so far out of adjustment that it no longer holds a socket and does not stay attached to the rack rail.

Overall

Craftsman Socket Rack is great for mobile mechanic.

I have a Craftsman tool set that came in a plastic molded case. The case worked fine for a while, but eventually fell apart. I got the socket rack to hold my sockets so I just need to carry the rack and a ratchet when doing repairs. The rack makes it easy to orgnaize sockets from large to small, and it's easy to make sure I have all my sockets with me before leaving a job.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

outstanding way to orginize your sockets

this is the best way NOT to loose sockets and to orginize them all of my sockets are on crafstman socket rails

I would recommend this product to a friend.

durable and great for storage

this socket holder has been great so far, i have been using it for a week and i keep using the same socket over and over. taking it on and off the rack has never been an issue and the tab is getting worn in and makes it a lot easier to take the socket off and putting it back on. the spring loaded ball takes care of any worry i have about having to replace the tab. thanks craftsman tools! im a lifer!
