      Made in the USA

This is a quality tool that was made in the USA. It works as designed and does not show an thread distortion after use. I recommend using a small amount of thread cutting oil on the threads before use. The rubber O-ring in the center is a nice touch that helps keep the tools from falling out of the socket that could result in damaged threads if it strikes an engine part. With this tool you get 2 sizes for what I previously paid for one thread size only.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Clean up those threads!

Great for cleaning up threads on spark plug holes when needed. Clearance might be an issue depending on where the hole is, but otherwise this is an incredibly useful and handy tool to have around. This isn't used for cutting new threads, just cleaning up old ones that need a bit of TLC.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good little thread chaser! Still USA made!

Works good on small engines to clean up the spark plug threads. It is definitely something to have in you tool arsenal in case you cross thread a spark plug. The only downfall is its a little bulky so it won't fit in tight quarters.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      The Best Chase in Town!

This tool came in extremely handy, it saved me from replacing a cylinder head and a fist full of hundreds, I recommend it very highly. You should look into making one for each size spark plug with a half inch six point opposite end in order to get a smaller socket down narrow recessed plug areas. Thanks Mike R.

Craftsman Spark Plug Hole Thread Chaser

While installing new plugs in the daughter's 1999 Mustang I noticed that I was cross threading one of the holes!  I immediately stopped and checked Sears.com to see if they had one of these in my store and, thankfully, they did!

When I got home I carefully inserted it in the hole and was able to clean up the threads easily!  Well with the $7 price tag!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      This tool saved the day

I was worried I pulled the threads out of the head of my old Craftsman rear-engine rider, and I saw this tool online.  Since the head is 3x the price of this tool, I figured I'd give it a shot.  I used it with PB'laster and I've not had trobule since.  This tool is worthy of a spot in your tool box!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
