Excellent Product
This spring compressor is very easy to use. In fact, I even used it to remove the rear springs (instead of using the pry bar method). They easily compressed the upgraded (stiffer) after-market springs for my 2006 Pontiac GTO. I highly recommend this tool.

Don't buy if you own a honda..
Do not buy this tool of you have an acura or honda, it will not work with most of their springs... The jaws are too big to fit into the spring.. Now I have to return this and buy something that works! WASTE OF TIME!

Made in USA!

Still Made in USA! Great value Great quality I used these to replace four struts on a 2003 honda accord ex coupe. Worked perfectly! I can reccomend these at this price point as long as they are American made. If production moves overseas then there are better alternatives.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Got the job done

I bought this item for myself as I needed them to do a strut job on my car but I also loaned them to my father in law so he could change the struts on his three vehicles. They held up just fine through 4 cars worth of struts. They have a large bolt on the top that I did have to buy an extra socket for. Invest in a 15/16 impact socket if you plan on buying these as well.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

spring compressor

this tool definitely did the job. the only tricky part is getting the compressor on the spring depending on your spring rate.

Spring Compressor

These are high quality and have a surprisingly low profile. It is bad enough getting springs out, adding extra width and it's over. My old set wouldn't work, I got these and the springs slid out

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very strong

Did a great job on my Infiniti G20. Did all 4 struts with only minor adjustments to make it work. They were very sturdy and safe to use. This is my first time using spring compressors so, i have nothing to compare against.

They work okay.

I've owned these for about ten years. They've held up well, but I'd only say they work okay. As far as construction, they're quite beefy. In fact, The paws are a little too thick. I don't see the point in the safety pins and the nuts are a little on the wide side. Usually as you compress the springs, these giant nuts get close to the strut and its difficult to use the box end of the wrench; and a socket is out of the question. If you need 'em, they'll work, but i would try a different style if I could do it all over again.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The strut spring compressor works well.

There are no instructional procedures included with package. However, once passed this issue, the item works as intended.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works Great

I used these coil compressors for installing new coil springs on my Jeep Wrangler. They are very strong, easy to use, and built to last. I used an electric impact gun to assist with using them, but an air ratchet would have been much easier. Too bad I didn't own this set - I borrowed a friend's, but I hopefully will own a set soon. If you don't have power tools to assist with these, you'd better have Popeye the Sailor arms. UPDATE: I bought the one's from my friend. I'm very happy that I now can do any of the suspension maintenace on my Jeep!.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
