Great sale price on this item, but I got what I paid for. It wouldn't work on newly painted walls. The instruction stated I would have to wait 2 weeks. Did try to get it to work. Would not work at all. I needed to get this room finished with wall hangings. I could not wait 2 weeks.

You have to go very slow back and forth for it to give you the markings for the studs, I was hoping that it would be easy, this is the third one that I have tried, 1st one did not work at all. the other one I returned after I got it as it was not accurate.

This stud finder works great! The light beam works well if you need to make marks higher than the immediate top of the stud finder. The electricity notification is also helpful in alerting you.
