Craftsman Swivel Jaw Hose Plier

the c-clips on the swivel came off with just using the swivel function twice. The ends connected to the swivels are twisting already with only a few uses.

Total Junk!

Garbage! I would expect this from HFT but not sears! I am going to see about getting them replaced and in the mean time I am getting a New Pair From my MAC Tools Dealer. One snap ring failed after two uses and then on the third use they bent way out of wack. Cheap steel and poorly designed product. just more prof that craftsman quality control is in the toilet.

Good for spring style hose clamps

These are good for automotive spring style clamps. These are a little akward to use in tight locations, but overall a very useful tool. Much better than trying to make a pair of slip joints work.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works great and reasonably priced

Handy little tool priced so the homeowner do-it-yourselfer can put one in his toolbox without guilt. This is a must have for the home automechanic.

Good for the price

These pliers are essential for getting the spring loaded hose clamps, Though craftsman needed to take a closer look before they approved these tools. The spring that locks the tool closed needs to be a little stronger because it has a tendency to not lock without pushing the lever in. The handles really could use some type of grip material like a vinyl dip or a cushion grip. The handles just have some lines made into the metal handle that are useless. I will have to dip it in vinyl myself. The metal that connects to the business end of the tool should have been made about 2 inches longer with a third rivet. At least they have a lifetime warranty and that is great. Tool should have been marked better with the manufacturers code as well as made in USA. It is the little things that count and tools are no different. I hope craftsman continues to look to USA companies for their tools. If not, a lot of folks will look elsewhere for their tools. I have met a lot of angry people in sears when they see the tools are made in china. These pliers are thankfully USA made.
