Great socket

Great Craftsman T27 Torx socket. This is good for when you need to fill in the odd sizes on a Torx set. The bits on these are strong and should last through most regular use, and the socket part works good and looks nice. Made in USA.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
bough this cause the set did not come with a t27

I bought this item to work on my motorcycles because it is such a common torx bit for the Harley and I am surprised that sears does not include this t27 torx in its set.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very handy tool

Torx sockets are a lot like hex bit sockets seem, they seem rather clumsy, not slim and easy to use as are screwdriver-like torx drivers.  But wait until you have a long series of Torx fasteners to loosen, or one that needs some extra encouragement.  Then a Torx bit on a ratchet is the perfect solution.  Better yet, use a speed handle for that long line of fasteners.  You will not want to use that screwdriver-like torx driver again for Torx fasteners.  Keep a set of these in your tool box.  You will be surprised how often you find uses for them.
