Needed to replace cheaper inflator that only worked sometimes and gave false pressures. Only used a couple of times but so far I am very happy with. Worth the higher price sold for.

I had another brand one that was inaccurate as heck. I got this Craftsman one on sale. Night and day. It's actually pretty dang accurate too. While I have never used one of these that are dead on accurate from any brand, this one is about 2 pounds off. Absolutely no big deal at all. It's made out of quality parts too. Feels nice and heavy in your hand. I'm a fan.

I just bought this tire inflator and gauge from Sears. Right out of the box it was very fast, the hose was flexible and accurate. Every tire fill was accurate to the pound. Of course I checked it with a tire gage after using it the first time. I was using a small brass air chuck and it was very difficult to use at times depending where the air stem was located. Then had to check the tire pressure with a tire gage. Now no worries! Its so much faster then the other method. It has PSI and Bar and kPa readings on it. . You just need to turn it sideways to see the PSI reading. I don?t know why one of the reviewers was complaining about the metric readings. EVERY tire pressure gauge I have ever owned had PSI, Bar and kPa scales on them. If you have an issue with this just covert it! Go to http://www.unit-conversion.info/pressure.html. It?s worth the money.

Made in China but appears to be well built. Gauge is accurate as well, should serve well for home use. Not sure about the guy who 's complaining Euro units... this guy probably complains everything in life
