Craftsman  Tractor Deck Wash Kit

Bought this to replace the original on my 50" rider deck. First one lasted about 4 years. Broke when removing the hose QD. Should have lubed the cast fitting that mounts to the mower. Otherwise happy to find an exact replacement for my Sears riding mower. Just remember to lube it from time to time and it'll keep your deck cleaned with very little effort.

Easy installation...just make sure your location measurements are correct for your particular deck. It is MARVELOUS! Nothing else to say except...go and buy one...why are you still reading this...GO BUY ONE!

If you just want to tickle the underside with water, then get this. Or you can use the water hose by hand and do it the right way.It may be messy by hand and you have to use some sense safety wise, but it will do the job 95% verse 10% of the cleaning job.

This is an awesome product. I have had my mower for over 3 yrs and never done anything to the deck. After just a couple of uses my mower deck is almost clean.

at the point where the quick disconect plugs onto the fitting, it leakes badly thus I do not get as much water pressure underneith where it is used.

It is a great innovation. I wish I had known about it before. Our mower from Sears had a hole already drilled for it but either way it would be easy to install. I installed it in less than 3 minutes including drilling a small hole for the fastening screw. It makes cleaning the lawn mower after every mowing and getting better performance on the cutting by the mower easier than ever before.

If you use this and decide to move tractor--DISCONNECT THE HOSE!

If the rear tire runs over the hose it will break the metal connecter!

It works great and is a wonderful investment. Definately worth the money.

Adding this deck wash to my tractor has spead up the mantnice process by cutting out having to take the deck off every week to scrap and spray off the underside of it, now i only have to take the deck off onec a year to replace the blades and the belts.

Spraying the inside of the deck with water seems like it should keep things nice and clean but this product leaked all over the TOP of the deck, putting water in areas that should not get wet. Needs a better, leak-proof snap-on fitting. Even if it worked properly, do you really want to saturate the grass that always builds up on the deck underside? You end up with a dense layer of basically mud that won't dry out for days while rusting out the deck. Better to leave everything dry and just scrape the deck a few times a year. I do not recommend this product.
