I Got this thinking it would help me with the mowing....all it seemed to do was slow me down.....I have tightened this thing as tight as I could,it keeps coming loose...I guess i will have to use lock tight and tighten it so much as to risk damaging the steering wheel.......what a waste !!

This steering knob makes steering the mower so much easier and quicker. Able to steer with one hand while working the controls with the other. I only wish that they had one made of metal, but that is only preference.

When I saw these at the store, I had to have one. The last time I had a steering knob was on my "52" Plymouth, many years ago. I bought one then for the same reason..... it makes maneuvering the vehicle really easy. It was like having power steering and since my yard has quite a few obstacles, it is very handy, The kit has adapters to fit the knob to any thickness steering wheel and is a very well made product and should last for the life of the tractor. Buy one... you'll be glad you did.

I purchased this for my Craftsman 21 HP lawn mower. I have fairly steep hills and gutters on both sides of the lawn. This really makes steering easier. I am using it a lot more than I thought I would when I first bought it. It is a little expensive but it is very good quality. I can run the mower in a higher gear and have better control so I get done faster.
