I spent over an hour cleaning rust off tools after setting the bench grinder up. The variable speed feature is cool and the weight of the unit makes it wery solid even before I mounted it to the bench top. The grinding wheels and brushes are very easy to change out and the flexible lamp is very helpful. I would strongly recommend the Bench Grinder.

First time I used this tool it was great. I have 2 Zro-Trn mowers and it worked great at sharpening the blades. Also used it for my gardening tools and I used the variable speed. Great Feature.

Purchased this on sale a few weeks ago and used it to sharpen all my dull drill bits, two lawn mower blades, and an axe; so it's probably paid for itself already. I also purchased a 100 grit wheel for finer honing of some woodworking tools. The brass wire wheel that comes with unit is kind of cheesy, but worked fine for cleaning rust off of some long bolts - now I don't have to replace them. I put a compact 15W compact fluorescent bulb in the lamp fixture- plenty of light. For the price and all the features on this grinder it's a great value. Btw, I looked at the cheapo HF Tools grinders - don't waste your time or money - they have nothing that comes close to this. Some reviewers mentioned low power - mayb if you're doing heavy metal grinding you'd need something with a bigger motor but for me, i has plenty of power for all my sharpening and light grinding jobs, and is a nice size for my small workshop. I haven't used it for everything yet. It has a lot of power. The wire wheel is noisy with the wires hitting the sides. I guess i'm gonna have to trim the wild ones off.

a good hoby tool. It needs more power. I find it easy to stall with only light buffing.

Versatile tool that performs many tasks with ease; sharpening, cleaning, descaling, buffing, and many more. The variable speed allows me to setup the speed to match the particular material I'm working. Looking forward to many years of trouble-free work.

Picked it up on sale and have done some light grinding and wire wheel use so far. Will give it a good test shortly after doing some welding to see how well it does. I'm sure it will be more than adequate for what I will be using it for. I really like the variable speed option. The wire wheel doesn't seem like it's going to last very long. Will changing it out to a sturdier one when it's finished.

What can you say, it works.

No power. Takes 15 secs to get up to speed. Either out of balance or shaft not completely straight, so it wobbled/viabrated pretty bad once it got up to speed. Set it up, started it, saw that it was not up to my equipment standards and should not be up to the craftsmen brand standards and immediately returned it. I am concerned about craftmen putting their name on this. I am huge fan and hope this is not a sign of things to come.

Bought it, set it up quickly and made it pay for itself in one night. No problem took only a short time to do that. Variable speed nice touch all the features are nice. Like the light. Small but stable, I didn't even bolt it down. It isn't a heavy duty one so appreciate it for what it is. Going to enjoy this for years to come I can tell. Could use onboard storage somehow for wrench and bit attachment. Bolts that needed to be tightened for assembly in tight spot and kinda akward to to. Only drawbacks I can tell.
