Bought this trimmer and really like it. Still have trouble with chain link fencing though as it rips the again the fence. I bought a Pivotrim head but cannot take the head off of this one to replace it...am i missing something?

I BOUGHT THIS 4 HRS. AGO.. AFTER THE 1ST HALF TANK OF GAS IT SHUT DOWN AND WONT START UP. NO POWER , PULLED OVER SO MANY TIMES I THINK I THREW MY ARM OUT. DO NOT BUY.......... AND I WANT MY $$$ BACK FOR THE GAS. THANKS

I own a landscaping business and this tripper can take down the toughest grass and brush. It is very easy to assembly and able to breakdown if you want to travel w/ it. The line is super easy to replace unlike most bump trimmer heads. The trimmer starts like a charm. I recommend getting the XQ .95 line it cuts better and will save you time on having to replace the line in the spool. The only 2 downsides are the weight, it is a pretty heavy trimmer so get the sling attachment. It goes through gas pretty fast. one bonus is that you can easily make adjustments to the carb to change your throttle speeds. I highly recommend getting this trimmer.

This item is grossly underpowered. When starting it acts like the choke is stuck on but finally gets under power. It barely has enough power to cut any medium growth. I would strongly recommend save your money and don't buy this junk! In case I haven't said it strongly enough...... JUNK!!!

Unreliable, have had to purchase several of these, one per year. I made the mistake of buying additional attachements, trimmer, blower. Now I have to have this Gas Trimmer engine or will have no use for the attachements. Do not make the mistake of buying this trimmer or being locked into the attachments. This is a terrible unreliable product.

This trimmer had a good build quality was light weight and the price was excellent. Unfortunately my enthusiasm for this trimmer faded quickly when I could not start it the first time I used it. . i am very adept at starting and using small enigine pull start machines of all tyrpes for many decades. This trimmer, using the start up proceedure layed out in the "quick start up pamphlet" did not work. I had to ultimately pull the spark plug and notice it had no fuel in the chamber. I had to use starting fluid to get it started. I have to say once the initial startup problem was delt with this trimmer started faily easliy. The problem is that it has no power. even on just normal grass and not tougher weeds it boged down and stooped the trimmer head. I have never, ever seen this in any trimmer, ever. I could not use it so I returned it. Save your money and get a more powerful trimmer
