Take On Any Cleanup Job With the Wet-Dry Vac Filter
Use the Craftsman HEPA Rated Material Vac Filter to get rid of everything from stubborn dirt to household allergens. The HEPA material of the filter is designed to take on fine dust particles like drywall and concrete dust. Clean fine ash from fireplaces and grills with the help of its high-performance filter. It's especially helpful for people suffering from allergies as it gets rid of pollen and common allergens like pet dander, mold spores and dryer lint.
The Wet-dry vac filter has a special paper pleated technology that creates a large surface area for dust and dirt removal. Compatibility with a wide range of vacuums makes this a clear favorite with all users. It can be used with most vacs that are 5 gallon and above, produced after 1988. These wet-dry filters also work with vacs that use Red Stripe filters. Choose this HEPA rated filter for your vacuum to perform its best.

While vacuuming talcum powder off the carpet, there was no danger of breathing in the fine dust. The HEPA filter worked really well to prevent sneezing and coughing. I recommend it to people who suffer from dust reactions. I'm not a doctor, but I can say that it worked for me.

If you're going to be sucking up stuff that could be harmful to your lungs, why not spend the $$ and use the safest filter you can ? It's worth it in the long run

I'm not an expert but I could tell how much cleaner the filter made the room. I used this in our basement where there was a lot of dust and even inactive mold. Of course I had on a mask, gloves, fan out the window, etc because this was post flooding. It gave me peace of mind to know I was making the basement not only cleaner but safer. I researched the craftsman manual and found out this filter is not the regular replacement filter. It is for cleaning much finer particles. I won't get into the technical terminology. It does a better job! I also learned that this filter is for dry cleaning with the wet vac and you need the foam one for cleaning up water. So make sure you get the right filter for each job.

Filter does a fine job of collecting fine household dust and keeping it in the vacuum, not putting it back into the air. It has not reduced the suction significantly. If you are vacuuming up a lot of mixed size dust, it is helpful to knock some of the larger debris particles off the filter periodically. This filter is overkill if you are using it to clean the garage or workshop. However; it works wonders in getting out allergins in the car, light fluffy dust off tile and wood floors and above doors, along with drapes & blinds.

To appreciate these filters you would have to had been trying to vacuum up dry wall dust or ashes ( not hot ashes) and see what you have been vacuuming coming back out of the exaust. That doesn't happen with this filter. I know of nothing else short of perhaps spending a lot more at your own risk and buying an elaboraqte dust collection system. I always have one of these on had and simply clean it out myself ( ditry Job ) when my vac begins to loose suction. I have even taken these outside bounced the dust out of them and rinsed the remaining dirt off, let dry and use again and again as one method of cleaning.I highly recomend this product.

HEPA filters are the only kind that you should use. Less particulate in wxhaust means that you don't have to breathe it all in. That means you'll be around to do a few more jobs.
