I have two of these battery charger/maintainers already and they do a good job for my riding mower and 4-wheeler. The only problem that I have had with them is corrison on the connectors.
I bought this because I had just had a problem with a dead battery. I didn't like having to wait to get car jump started. When I received I noticed that it runs through lighter. If car is dead that won't work
this charger is great for them money I have owned all kinds of chargers from battery-tenders to shumackers this one is for my tractor this winter ..............I have one complant it sounds kinda like a tube tv when its being used "high pitch noise" if u tap it it will stop

I bought this primarily for use as a maintainer for a vehicle that is seldom driven, but that I didn't want to have to jump start, or remove and charge the battery every time I needed/wanted to start the car. This charger/maintainer works well for my needs.
I've had this for at least 5 years. I use it every winter to keep my Mustang, Buick Electra 225, and ATV's batteries charged. It cycles all the time and keeps each of the batteries fully charged (one at a time of course.) Never had any issue with it.
This is the perfect charger to keep your boat or car battery at full charge when the battery is not used for a while. I use mine to keep my boat battery full charged during the winter, when my boat is stored. I take my battery out and keep it in my house. Every few weeks I connect this charger, and top off the charge. Perfect. I also like the extra connectors to work any other 12 or 6 volt items I may want to turn on in my home. Like a CB radio, that normally would only work in my truck. Great item
