Have a lot of problems finding just the right boot. These can in a wide which is what I need. They are nice looking and fairly comfortable. They will need to stretch a little to be most comfortable. Did put an insert in for now but this boot is a good value.
purchased this boot as a chore boot for mowing the lawn and performing chores around the house. I am not in the construction field but needed a good quality and comfortable boot. After no more than 10 times wearing the boots I noticed that the left outer sole was completely worn off. Just turned to goo. Because I didn't wear these boots everyday the 90 day warranty had obviously expired. No help from the Sears department store due to the 90 day warranty. my advice is DON'T BUY THESE DIE HARD BOOTS. THEY ARE JUNK!!!
My husband is on his feet for 12 hours a day and he has had foot surgery also and these boots seem to be the best at being on your feet for long periods of time. He doesn't complain his feet are hurting since he bought these boots. Great pair of boots at a great price
I've had these for about 6 months. I really liked the design and bought them as a cheap alternative to the more expensive types of similar style. I DID buy the "Wide Width", and when I tried them on at the store, they had the typical feel of new boots (Tight). Assuming they would just wear in, like every other work boot I've bought, I left with them on. To this day, I can only wear them for short periods before my feet are killing me. Also, I had used them while riding my motorcycle, and the shift arm VERY quickly ate through the low grade leather. I've been forced to wear the Chippewa Boots these were supposed to replace, until I can get another Boot Allowance from work. Suffice it to say, it's the last pair of cheap boots I will ever buy.
i bought two pair of these boots about a year and a half ago.the first pair lasted about 14 months before they fell apart .the second pair fell apart in 2 months .i have worked in the same place for 8 years so its not like the work environment changed . these boots used to be made in united states now there made in china.
i have wore this boot for over 20 years now . they have never failed to give me the grip i need to climb that column to get to my next elavatation. the triple stitch sides with the extra stitch a half inch above where i also have a rivet installed. this boot has evolved with time the chinese took a good boot and made it better hate to say and i am a union man.i have tried all boots sometimes the more costly boot is not the best boot for the buck, bring the diehard back home and thank the chinese for perfecting this boot for us THE U.S.A.
