These are heavy, bulky, and not very universal (fat sockets may not fit) the magnets are very heavy. The plastic 3 pc. Socket Holders (00941829000 | Model# 41829) are much more useful if you plan to carry your sockets around. And, if you are going to organize your tool box I think there are better options.

Very nice socket trays. Not mentioned in Description is the fact these are for 1/4 drive sockets. Magnets are strong, sockets stay in place. Clean up with waterless NO GRIT hand cleaner seems to work best for clean up.

I have several of these. I like them. They look great, they hold the sockets well, and they a easy to use. That said, I cannot recommend them. If you drop one of these holders that is loaded with sockets, they go everywhere. If you do not hold them by the handle, then the sockets that you have your hand around come loose and you wind up dropping the whole thing, with the results as seen above. They are fine in a drawer of a tool chest, but not a tool box environment where tools get tossed in on top of them. the sockets keep popping out and the magnets gather all manner of ferrous dross in the tool box. I like...No. I love the concept. I think that the design needs to be looked at and improved in order for this product to be a home run. I recommend the tried and true rack style socket holder.

I bought a pair of these to try them out before I dropped a lot of money to convert all my holders over. I'm glad I only bought one pair. These holders work pretty well but they don't have enough space for all my sockets, nor do they stay clean. In the shop the magnets pick up grit and dirt very quickly making these kind of annoying to handle. These would be great for the person who has a small number of sockets and works in a clean environment. Otherwise, spend the money on the better metal twist lock type holders.

I love the idea of using magnets to hold the sockets in place, but the thing doesn't have enough socket spaces that are big enough to hold all of my sockets. This just needs bigger and more spaces!!!

Not enough spots for sockets, and 1/2" won't fit. Stick with the good 'ol fashioned socket racks.

You should have a tool boxs if you have tools. These trays realy help if you work away from your box or would like to keep your tools organized. You shhould never misplace tools if you pay attention to what you are doing. Good Stuff

I recently purchased a set of metric impact sockets from sears. I am very happy with the sockets. However, there are twelve sockets in a set and your socket holders only hold eleven! What were you thinking! I cannot purchase this item as I would end up misplacing the other socket. Poor planning as far as I can see.
