Overall
A fun, though somewhat annoying toy!

While I don't think this toy is worthwhile at the retail price, I got it during a big Kmart sale and it was a real steal.  I picked up one for my son and one for my nephew and they both liked it very much though it has some major pros and cons.  The drill itself is the best part (both kids pretty much ignore the other pieces). But it is a bit noisy and my wife can't stand the drilling sound.  The generator box doesn't do much but does double as a storage unit. However, neither the flashlight nor the drill fit inside.  One thing to note - to get the drill to work, you need to plug in a fake battery pack that is tethered to the generator.  This means that the drill won't work without the kids dragging the generator behind them.  Do yourself a favor, cut the tether off at both ends (it is just a piece of rubber tubing that serves no purporse).  That way the kids can leave the "battery pack" plugged in at all times and play with it unhindered.
