Handy Item To Have Around

Made In The USA. Even if you have a set of dedicated magnetic tipped screwdrivers, At under $4.00  Having a couple of these compact Magnetizer / Demagnetizers around has proven beneficial on more than one occasion.

I've used it to "boost" the capacity of my dedicated magnetic drivers by leaving it attached to the shaft and magnetize other drivers on an as needed basis.

One is a permanent fixture in my nail bags and proven useful on more than one occasion. Store it in a snack size baggie, once those mystery metal shavings are cling on it just invert the bag.

Craftsman Magnetizer/Demagnetizer

I was skeptical, but this really works. I've magnetized one of my Craftsman phillips head screw drivers and it has remained magnetic for 48 hours now....I'll see how long it lasts, but I would have been impressed if it lasted an hour or two honestly. Simply run the screwdriver through the hole a few times to magnetize it, then run it down the side in the channel to demagnetize it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great tool, everyone needs one

I'm a college study, studying computer networking so I originally bought this to work on computers. If you guys know anything about computers and motherboards, you'd know that magnets can cause havoc on a motherboard. So I needed something to demagnetize my tools. It works great. I also use it to magnetize all my non-computer tools.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great product. It's a must have for any toolbox

If you've ever needed a magnetic screwdriver and didn't have one on hand, you'll appreciate this. One or two passes over the shaft of a screwdriver is all it takes to make it completely magnetic, and then to demagnetize just run the screwdriver over the notch at the top of the cube. Couldn't be simpler. It's also small and easy to carry around with you in a pocket if need be. The only con at all is that if anyone sees you using this, you may come back later to discover that it grew legs and walked off.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great item!

My new refrigerator has a bottom grill with very deep set, hard to reach screws. I decided the best way to remove it (for cleaning purposes) was to buy a long magnetic screwdriver. Much to my amazement, they are no longer available. A Sears clerk brought this magnetic block to my attention. It will temporarily magnetize any screwdriver, which makes those hard to reach screws very manageable. I bought several for all the men in my family. It's a handy little item to keep in the toolbox and it's only $4.00. I highly recommend this item and it would make a great stocking stuffer.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Magnetic Personality

This magnetizer is the perfect solution to magnetize your screwdrivers on the fly. Once you pass the tool through the magnetizer, it has a nice, strong magnetic hold. This creates little fuss and no frustration of losing screws while you are working. Don't want the tool to be magnetic anymore? It's even easier to demagnitze it by running it across the top of the magnetizer. The unit is actually two magnetic pieces strapped together with rubberbands, which also double as protection if you accidentally drop it. But if you do drop it, this tiny tool is considered a hand tool and is covered by the full warranty. If you have Craftsman screwdrivers, you will definitely want this nifty little tool alongside your screwdriver collection.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
