Craftsman 7 in. Linesman Pliers is a pretty tough little tool. I love the soft handle grips to hold & not have to worry about the handles slipping while you are working. The jaws do not twist or slip when using them, like some of the other cheaper pliers. They are very strong and solid built. They are made to last. They are stamped USA and have a lifetime warranty. They have a great bite when using them. I purchased these lineman pliers for my small engine shop and use them regularly. They worked pretty good when I was working on some chain link fence in my back yard. They slide right into my utility pocket on my converalls and are quite easy to grab on the fly. These are a nice addition to my toolbox and would be so for any toolbox out there. I highly recommend this set for your home or shop tool collection.

These steel linesman pliers make an excellent addition to any tool inventory. Easy to grip with wide jaws make this tool convenient for multi-purpose handling and cutting.

I have 4 or 5 pairs of Craftsman linesman pliers. These are the smallest and unfortunately, do not get used much. It's not because they are bad pliers, actually, they are good tools. I just like using the larger sized ones, that's all. I do like the built in wire cutter, very handy and useful. I use it more than my dykes. Biggest drawback on these is the 7" size. I prefer the 9" size myself - more torque when using the handles to cut wire.

I needed a pair of linesman pliers. I bought the Craftsman model and I'm very satisfied with them. The pliers have a quality feel and no slop at all at the joint. I've also used them for cutting various items that they may have not been designed for but they cut fine and the jaws have no sign of wear or dulling.

I purchased these pliers after buying cheaper lineman pliers. I could feel the diffrence between the cheaper pliers and the Craftsman pliers. These felt very soild, and sturdy. I had no problem with them sliping when using them. Very good tool. Well worth the price.

I'm a Materials Science Engineer and I cut one of these pliers into pieces, ground, polished and etched the pieces, then looked at the microstructures. It was tempered martensite throughout the entire pair of pliers. Very good. It means it was heat treated. These pliers also conform to the ASME pliers design standard (B107.20-2004) and testing standard (B107.25-2002)... good pliers.
