I received the Craftsman Locking Pliers Set as part of my Christmas gift. As soon as I opened them, I wondered why I had never purchased these years ago. The soft grip handles are excellent as they cushion my hands as I apply force to lock them closed on a bolt or nut. This is important as my hands are ate up with nerve damage and ever little bit helps. The cushioning also helps as I apply force to turn the pliers which do not slip a bit once locked in place. Thank you Craftsman for an awesome product.

Not a great pliers set. There is no release latch for the vicegrip so you actually have to pull the pliers apart which is a huge pain in the neck. I just started out and needed a bunch of affordable tools all at once. These were pretty cheap. I wouldn't buy them again, though. They might be fine fixing a car in your garage but I wouldn't recommend them for professional usage.

I got a good deal on this set at Christmas time. Have not used them yet but they seem durable. Would of gave them more stars but they are not made in USA. Getting harder to find Craftsman tools made here.

I have original ViseGrip pliers and decided to buy these as extra. They have a nice feel to them, but only the long nose pliers are the size as claimed. The 10 in. are actually 8 in. and the 7 in. are 6.5 in. When I measure my ViseGrips they are exactly the measurement claimed and stamped on the tool. They are good pliers, but they literally don't measure up to size.

The 3 pc. locking pliers set is a good deal and work well. I like the fact that they are Craftsman, so I have the confidence if they don't work I can get them replaced free. Yes, they are made in china, and I would rather have them made in the USA, but they seem to be made well and work as expected. The soft handles is a nice plus.

I return the single 7wr I bought 3 weeks ago, cause for $6 more I get the 10r, 6ln and 7wr. These pliers are very sturdy and great to work with. I'm glad I was able to exchange single buy and get the set for $19.99.
