Purchased set during a sale; only needed the pocket 6" ' trim screwdriver to replace a 30-something y/o one lost. The gamble I won is the fact all but the littlest are stamped (just like my 30-y/o stuff) Made in USA. The feel, weight and appearance of all in the set mirror my old stuff. Recommendation though: If purchasing an expensive Craftsman tool or set, be on site to verify place of mfr.

I just want to reply to the poster that reported "the primary reason I purchase Craftsman hand tools is that they are made in the USA." Then make sure you DON'T buy one of their garage floor jacks. They are made in China and are absolute junk. They cannot be repaired. I could tell tales of woe here but go to the item itself and look up the reviews. The Craftsman name no longer means what it once did. Sears should be ashamed of itself to continue this charade.

The primary reason I purchase Craftsman hand tools is that they are made in the USA. That coupled with the fact that they carry a lifetime guarantee so I can get one replaced if something should happen to it. However, I find that they are of such great quality that I do not have to utilize that guarantee very often.

These screwdrivers have to be one of the best values in the Sears tool department. They are a really good deal when they are on sale. The sizes fit a lot of fasteners and they fit well in in a portable metal tool box. They make a part of any tool set. I have used Craftsman screwdrivers for over 30 years and I have only had one to break. Sears replaced it without a hassle.
