this is a must have protection .protection

ok i also bought these gloves for my brother in law to protect his hands i also have 3 pairs for myself while i do my woodworking my brother in law has been there for me and over time i see him doing work on his quads so i said he needs these i feel that anyone who does any kind of engine work or wood work or just any thing you have to protect your hands these gloves i have found they are very comfortable and can be snugged up. you feel like you dont have any thing on your hands thats how good they are when you pick up a tool and hold something in your hands this is what you MUST wear and have. also these gloves are made of the very best material if your hands are slippery or something you tend top drop stuff .. but with these gloves they give you the very best grip  you will not drop any thing on your foot or the floor, if your just starting out in any kind of work this is the very first thing you buy along with eye protection.. also another good tip is to have a second pair of gloves you never know if you lose a pair , you have a backup pair of gloves in your toolbox when you find the pair you miss placed use those as your backup pair then.....steve

The plastic tip on the index finger and thumb destroys the feel.

I love mechanics gloves and wear them like a second skin,  However the Craftsman Mechanics Gloves which my wife bought me have plastic tips on the index finger and thumb part of the glove.  These tips destroy the feel of the glove and make it difficult to grasp objects.  I am very dissatisfied with these gloves.  Maybe they will be ok for pulling weeds in the garden.

Good protection for you hands

These are nice gloves at a reasonable price.  They hold up well in most applications.  I have been a working aircraft mechanic for many years and found gloves useful for some applications, usually those involving chemical applications or working with battery acid or working on the flightline in really cold weather.  But I do not like the lack of "feel" I have when wearing gloves.  Feel is very important when using tools so you do not apply too much force or do not remove too much material.  I will work without gloves most of the time for that reason and I have many scars to prove it.  And getting greasy does not bother me but you may have an allergic reaction to the chemicals and the gloves are useful in protecting against that.

Great for working on the car!

I use these religiously.  They make it so I can work on the car and still go to work without greasy hands.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works like they should, pretty durable.

They work if you are doing heavier jobs or just trying to keep your hands from getting dirty, but don't work well for things that require dexterity.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

These Craftsman Mechinics gloves are quality for the price!!!

I will admit I have only purchased a limited quantity of Mechanics gloves but my husband swears by these. They are comfortable to where and don't inhibit his ability to grip.

Love these gloves

I live in a very cold climate and fix my cars myself - a freezing cold garage and cold rusty metal generally do not make for a fun combination on bare hands. Call me stupid, but I never had a pair of mechanics gloves before these (and I've got the scars to prove it). I got these on sale a few weeks ago and LOVE THEM! I just put in a new exhaust system while wearing them and cannot believe how much better a decent pair of tight fitting mechanics gloves can make something like that. Get some.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Gloves

I have submitted a review for these gloves before(red version). My work is labor intensive & my gloves take a beating as well as come into contact with many chemicals. No other brand has stood up to my work more than 6 weeks, but my Craftsman gloves lasted over 6 months and I have purchased 2 more pairs since and have experienced the same durability.
