I've purchased 2 others of this product, and they are a fair value when purchased on sale. The one factor that disturbs me is the description says the jack still has a flanged side wall, but it does not-----consequently, I can only assume it has the same stability as my others.

PROS Immensely strong jack. does not waver or wiggle under heavy load Very heavy which is a benefit for stability on the ground wide and stable CONS Slow to rise but I have found fast up jacks are less reliable My first one only lasted about 10 years before the rings weakened. Still very worthwhile purchase. I use jack stands but have great faith in this jack working the heaviest of loads.

IT WORKS OK BUT MUST HAVE A STICKING VALVE IN IT SOME TIMES I HAVE TO TAP THE BODY SO IT WILL HOLD PRESSURE.

The first 3 ton jack I purchased had a bent wheel rod and had to be returned. Our local Sears store bent over backwards to provide me with a replacement floor jack and a 10% refund of my original purchase. This jack works great so far. Make sure you bleed to residual air out before first use.

Bought this Piece of **** Jack a few years ago & it worked allright the first 3 to 4 jobs I did on my Truck, then of course when I'm caught in a desparate situation and start lifting the truck it doesn't lift all the way ans I can't get my jackstands under the vehicle! I notice that it's leaking around the pump cylinder, I try adding fluid and wind up loseing all when I unscrew the Allen wrench bolt! Thru much labor I manage to coax enough Fluid into the jack to finish the repair job. I go to use it again yesterday and guess what...I gotta oil puddle under the jack and it doesnt lift at ALL!! My Dads a fisherman, I'm gonna offer it to him to use at the Lake as a Boat Anchor!!
