4000 LB. Floor Jack
This is a great jack. I can lift my low profile car and my truck with the same jack. It is good looking, Well made, silky smooth, and easy to operate. One pump and the saddle hits the jack point, a few more and you're done. It's just as easy to lower the vehicle, one twist and it's down. I chose this Jack because, I can easily lift it and carry it to a storage locker, pop off the handle, and fit it into a compact space without breaking my back.

Very Poor Product - Accurate Reviews
I discounted the reviews here and elsewhere as internet fodder, but unfortunately it is all true. Lifted the car one time to test the jack, put it aside and when I returned later in the day there was quite a trail of fluid running through the garage. Sears took it back without issue, but this will likely be the last Craftsman tool I purchase. I am quite angry actually. Cheers,

Sears is ruining the Craftsman name

They keep selling this garbage and they all seem to die after the warranty period. Alot of money for a disposable jack

It's just as bad as everyone says

Luckily mine never failed while holding a vehicle or leaked on my floor, but one day the cylinder just stuck all the way in and it's just a big hunk of worthless now.

Garbage

Do not buy if you expect it to last or you plan on Sears to stand behind it. I used it a dozen times over 4 years and it failed on me.

Heed the warnings

I'm an experienced mechanic, and this is the worst jack I've ever owned. I bought a ******** jack that lasted longer than this hunk of junk. Do yourself a favor, if you want a cheap quality jack, just go to ************** at least it will cost less.

Don't Waste Your Money or Time

Won't hold; leaked down right out of the box, not too mention, on the floor as well. I'm not even getting a replacement based on what I've seen with these reviews.

Not as good as it looks.

You can never know if the jack will work. Out of the box is was great for the first few month then its ability to jack fadded away. I would not want to depend on this jack for a business or racing.

Great Jack!

Im truely am amazed that this jack gets such poor reviews. Ive had it around 7 years and really enjoy using it. It gets used around 3-4 times a month around my house lifting 4,000-5,000lb jeeps(one end at a time). Im the family mechanic so I get to work on everyones vehicle. Ive never had any issues with it bleeding off, not lifting a vehicle, etc. The bearings in the wheels are still in great shape although I keep them greased and everything else gets sprayed with silicone spray. The oil has never been changed but I will change it soon. Cant give it anything less than 5 stars even after reading the poor reviews.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

POOR QUALITY

Used this item about 10 times. Then, it no longer held - must be a defective leak somewhere - oil level was OK - must be a seal or something. For the price to have a jack fail after only 10 times is NOT acceptable. I suggest you purchase another brand.

Best jack for the money!

I registered for this Jack as a wedding gift which I got in 2001.  Since then it has lifted hundeds of Audis including my own because I like working on Audi suspensions.  A friend even slightly damaged my jack by lifting one corner of his S4 without his parking brake on.  The jack rolled off it's side damaging one of the side handles, but the jack remained strong to this day.  It lifts 2 ton cars without much effort.  And it is much lighter than my all steel 4 ton jack which lifts so slowly.  I have a second one now to mate with my 11 year old one.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
