      Product Description

Laser-etched size marking makes it easy to locate the right socket for the job. Great for working in low-lit or greasy environments. Permanent marking resists chipping, fading and corroding. Headlock grip gives more contact on the flats of the fastener for more turning force.

22mm Easy Read 6pt Craftsman Socket 1/2" Drive

Standard fit and finish for Craftsman sockets, not for a tool polisher but as usual this Craftsman socket will get the job done. With most Craftsman sockets outsourced, this USA made socket maintains fit and form of the last generation of USA made sockets. It is dual marked such that finding socket sizes is made easier for an older fellow like me that has a hard time reading the stamped markings but maintains the stamped markings for durability. Lifetime warranty is a plus, but not a selling point for me as I have had very few Craftsman tool failures in the 30 years I have been working with them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Great quality socket.

This Craftsman 22mm socket is a great quality socket. It has a nice finish to and with it being Easy-To-Read makes it very easy and quick to find. It being a 6 pt. socket makes me much more confident in it not rounding off the nut/bolt I am trying to get off. I picked this up in-store and it was made in the USA.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      excellent socket

if you bought it in store, it is usually made in US. If you order online, usually it's made in China. But if you paid the same price for it, the quality is the same. There are some cheap item but usually at a cheap price. For 22mm socket, we are expecting a large torque, so I prefer 6 -pt socket, to avoid round off the nut. Easy-To-Read Sockets is important, and save me a lot of time.

      A life saver

I needed to take apart the forks on a motorcycle. The previous owner didn't believe in a torque wrench and thought the tighter, the better. I had a 22mm socket but it was one with multiple points and was starting to chew up the aluminum nut. I read that a 6 pt socket would not do that. I ordered the socket online and asked for expedited shipping. It arrive in a day and a half and worked like a charm. If I had ruined the nut, I might have had to buy new forks for probably close to $1,000. This saved my bacon.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Hit up open stock for your most used sizes

Made In The USA  The majority of my conventional marked sockets reside on rails and grabbing the proper size off the rail has never been an issue, it's just a math thing and it makes you think.

My recent purchase of a few of the  Easy-To-Read Sockets  has made me realize they do make identification and selection quicker, and it isn't just a bunch of marketing hype.

The 22mm is one socket of several you may want to add to your list if you plan on purchasing or have purchased the 10 piece  Metric Easy-To-Read Socket Set - # 34556.

      craftsman socket

this 22mm socket is just the right size. it is thin enough to fit in tight areas and i like the large size markings in the outside.
