This chainsaw is easy to use and very easy to start. We had a dead gumball tree that needed to come down. After the lowest estimate of $600 we decided to take a chance on this chainsaw and take it down ourselves. It sliced through the hard wood very easily and allowed for precision in placing the cuts so the tree went down in the very spot we needed it. It sliced through the trunk to cut down for disposal. We've cranked it up a few other times and have been very pleased with it - would definitely repurchase if needed.
I cant wait to use this bad boy on the trees in my back yard ,I have always liked craftsman and my tools are all craftsman i was not going to buy any other chainsaw or tools .The other reason i bought it was because it was a good price also

So far this saw seems pretty good. I am a homeowner and just use it to cut down trees and some trimming. I am replacing a 20 year old echo and decided to go with this for the price. so far so good.

What I appreciate about this saw is it is light. I rented a saw and it was heavy, as I grow older and I have a tendency to hold the saw with one hand and lean when trimming trees, this saw fits the bill for light.
I used this for light duty my first year in my home, it worked pretty good. The second year This thing would not stay running. I took this to sears to repair. they told me it would be 2 WEEKS at least. I took it to a mechanic friend of mine after 2 hrs and some new part still no luck. this thing is trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
