I spent a while looking around at sheds of this style before finally buying this one when it went on sale. I am moderately happy with it. It's been a year since we installed it, and so far it has stayed dry inside. It was a real pain to put together, and my husband definitely uttered some expletives during the process. We had a very hard time getting the roof to snap in place. After using it for a few months we found that every time we opened it the right door fell off. It's easy enough to snap the plastic hinges back on, but it's a pain when you are taking out a handful of shovels or garden tools and suddenly the door comes crashing down on you. I worry with my baby that she might get hurt if she's too close to it when the door comes off, so we'll have to find a permanent fix before she starts walking. Sadly for me, right after we installed this we found a bigger shed of the same quality at a local home improvement store for the same price, and after putting this one together I think that the size really is too small. We have a townhouse with a small yard, so I didn't want a huge shed, but we can't even fit our push mower in this. Now, it stores garden tools, shovels, and the christmas tree stand....that's about it. I'm stuck keeping the mower on the back porch, when I had hoped to get it off of the porch once we installed the shed. Overall, the shed isn't awful. I am giving it three stars because it does the most basic function of a shed - keeps things out of the weather. The size issue is my fault and doesn't weigh into my rating - I am only sharing so that others will spend more time considering the size of the shed they get before purchasing.... this one really doesn't work well to store a mower if you plan to put anything else at all in it. My mower would fit if I folded down the handle, but I wouldn't be able to get anything else in the shed.
While it says you need two people to put together, I was able to do it myself in about two and a half hours. Great little shed. It has no provision for puttting in shelves or hangers but if you use the craftsman track system they have and manually drill about 5 or 6 little holes in the back wall you can screw on the track and then hang items from that. Good looking building. Important to have a level surface that you build it on top of or create one prior to building. I didn't but was able to shim it up easily enough. It would be best to have two people to install the roof.....tough by yourself.
Used to store put a shelf in and all of my garden tools and supplies. Works great, easy to assemble. Plans on buying another one for same purpose but another venue, painting and plumbing supplies.
Assembly was easy. It took me less than two hours to assemble. (The deck I had to do to install the shed took longer!) The directions stated you needed two people to do the work. I did it myself. Other reviewers stated the roof is a pain and needs two people. The right side went on a little awkwardly but the left went one without a problem. The directions should state that you should not mount it to the ground (or deck in my case) till you?re finished. If I did, I would have had to take the mounts out of the floor so I could spin and shift the shed while assembly. I installed the shed behind my neighbors shed; back to back. It was hard to get the roof on and the side walls installed if I did. Besides that, it?s a nice unit. It will not keep out robbers a bit, but hey, if they break in, could they cut my grass for me?
Just what I needed! Narrow, tall and super easy to put together. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. I put this together myself in 1 hour with 5 minutes of help from my 12 year old son. Very happy with my new shed.

Assembly of sidewalls was quick, the roof was another thing. The tab design made that part of assembly a challenge, and those sections of the assembly manual could have been better written. The roof design (and assembly) of the 4X8 unit, which is steel reinforced, is much better. The unit must also be completely level or the doors will not close properly. That should be emphasized in the assembly manual. Constructing the wooden base was the best recommendation in the manual and makes leveling less of a challenge if you didn't use concrete. Having clear plexiglass windows seems to be a waste for such a small shed, and only invites intruders to see the contents. I left the white plastic covering on each glass panel on the inside of the doors to hide contents.

It fit the space and is well constructed. Be sure to check actual dimensions if you have specific storage needs. It's not actually 6x3. It is identical to the suncast unit and even says suncast on the inside and the instructions.
