Excellent trimmer
I own a landscaping business and this tripper can take down the toughest grass and brush. It is very easy to assembly and able to breakdown if you want to travel w/ it. The line is super easy to replace unlike most bump trimmer heads. The trimmer starts like a charm. I recommend getting the XQ .95 line it cuts better and will save you time on having to replace the line in the spool. The only 2 downsides are the weight, it is a pretty heavy trimmer so get the sling attachment. It goes through gas pretty fast. one bonus is that you can easily make adjustments to the carb to change your throttle speeds. I highly recommend getting this trimmer.

Bad Product
After assembling it, added gas mixture and primed per instructions. After about 20 pulls it still wouldn't start, primed it again and after another 15 pulls it finally started. It ran rough but I was able to trim part of my lawn. The following day tried to start it and after about 20 pulls it still wouldn't start so I packed it up and returned. I figured it was just a bad unit so I exchanged it for another. Got the second one home and gassed it up and primed it and this one wouldn't start at all. Returned it and got a refund. I should have checked the ratings before I bought it 40 one star ratings doesn't say much for this product. Craftsman used to make reliable products but I wouldn't buy one again.

No power. Wont run fast enough to cut the weeds

Just bought this and hd no problem getting it started but it will not cut even a thin row of weeds. As soon as you get into thick stuff it just stops spinning. Taking it back. Very dissapinted.

Worst Piece Of Power Equipment Ever

Seriously, this is a piece of junk. I've had this a year. It has never started well. Always runs poorly and has no power. Of course, it clogs easily. Not worth your money, your time or the aggravation.

Great Tool Good Price

First, I have to say I was surprised to see all of the negative feedback on this weedwacker. Right from the get-go I was impressed. Out of the box the assembly was a breeze. I had grabbed my tool box and drill expecting a few nuts and bolts but all it required was a philips screwdriver. The next morning I filled 'er up and she performed exactly how you'd want it to perform. The string it comes with is phenomenal and seems to cut whatever I've put in front of it. I'm very happy with the WeedWacker, especially with the option of interchangeable tool shafts. Something I noticed the negative reviewers didn't seem to mention, is that, every internal combustion motor has a break-in period. I've been building nitro powered and gasoline powered model RC cars/trucks for years and can tell you from experience and with confidence, that every internal combustion motor, regardless of fuel type, will not run perfectly when it is brand new. It MUST be broken-in before you can expect it to performance at its best. And this WeedWacker is no exception. Overall a great product and would absolutely buy again.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

All I can say is wow

Bought this assembled and it started very easy. No power what so ever. Bogs down under a light load. The single line string is terrible line doesn't last long at all and is a pain to change. I bought this as an open box at a wholesale auction for $50.00 what a waste of money. If it had the power it would need the head changed to a bump feed

Do not buy

The price is tempting, but every time you try to start it and your blood pressure makes you want to smash the trimmer into a thousand pieces you will wish you spent the extra $50 for a better product. I wish I did...going back out to try and start this...I bought this about a year ago. I have taken 10 years off of my life...do not buy!!!
