One minor problem
I bought this item 3 days ago and had one issue right away...the hose reel was broken in 3 places. Sears quickly fixed the problem by allowing me to pull the one off the floor model and we were good to go. Then I got home and assembled the unit which was a snap, but flooded the engine and destroyed the air cleaner, which I need to replace. The Honda engine runs great and there is plenty of pressure for everything but the most extreme of tasks.

Buy one with a servicable pump!

Much as the reviews of many models of pressure washers, the pump went on mine after only 3 or 4 uses over 2.5 years. Followed all the directions about storing it for the winter, but that didn't seem to help. No one locally will fix the pump, they all say its pretty much a throw away item and to replace it. Took pump apart myself will see if it fixes it.

Excellent power washer!

This medium duty pressure washer from sears is an excellent power washer. This unit is powered by a Honda 160cc motor, which is very reliable. This unit produces 2600 psi of pressure while using 2.3 gallons per minute. It is an easy starting machine that's equally easy to use. Check your oil, add gas, and go! Unit comes with 5 diffent spray tips so you can manage the pressure! Works great on cars, boats, outdoor furniture, stucco & siding, ect... This unit will also syphon detergent directly from the bottle with no mixing! This unit easily moves around on a very nice frame with large wheels. Very low maintenance. Great reliability with this unit.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Finally a sound purchase

I usually conduct hours of research before I purchase anything, however, I had limited time to purchase a power washer.  I went to sears and was able to quickly read reviews at the store using their internet site.  This unit with the honda motor got the best reviews despite what the salesman was trying to sell me(the more expensive model that had bad reviews!).  Like everyone says, the assembly is easy, the unit started on first pull.  So far extremely happy after power washing driveway.  The only issue I had was disconnecting the hose from the inlet at the pump, had to use to pliers to remove (very important to remember which way to loosen (which is opposite than normal righty-loosey).  Feels good to finally feel like I got my monies worth!

Surprised and Impressed

I did read the reviews online first before I bought a power washer. The 2550psi Craftsman power washer with the Briggs motor had horrible reviews, so I went for the 2600psi Craftsman with the Honda 160 engine. It has a 2 year manufacturers warranty.

Now I have had a Honda power washer in the past, unfortunately it was stolen of out my storage unit. Hondas reputation for power washers is unparalelled. Fantastic, diehard motor. Im a little biased in this department...lol.

Went to Sears and there was one 2600psi power washer left, it was marked down to $200 (from $399) because the hose and wand were missing. Thankfully, I had an extra hose and wand from my last Honda P. washer. The unit was never even ran - no gas in the tank (and no gas odor indicating there ever was), no oil in the engine, and the plastic plugs still over the connections at the pump.

Filled with gas and oil, hooked everything up, and it started on the first pull!!  Used it for about an hour and it definately is a powerful, well built unit. Pretty quiet for a power washer, and even though I used it for about 1/2 hour, it barely used any gas. No leaks, no vibrations (like my previous honda powered Excell power washer), no burning oil, nothing but solid performance. I am slightly bummed that the pump itself is non-serviceable. On other models, you have to fill it with 30w non-detergent oil and I enjoyed this as I knew it was lubricated and maintained. The 2600psi Craftsman is lubricated for life.

It also came with a bunch of different nozzles that are built into the unit so you do not lose them and a container for low pressure chemicals. Very satisfied and confident with my purchase. +1 for Craftsman power washers w/the Honda motors!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good Performer

Bought the unit in late spring and have used it several times- pavers, siding, stucco, lawn furniture, walkway, garage doors, etc. Honda engine is terrific. Good power and the detergent feed is quite good- gives two options (hose or Perfect Mix). Would advise purchasing the turbo wand for maximum cleaning. Need to replace nozzle O ring after 8 hours of cleaning.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works like a charm

I purchased this washer after returning the 2550 I bought the 2550 1st and then I reviewed the reviews on it and felt I should exhange it for the 2600 since there were so many bad reviews on the 2550. Easy to assemble only one small set back the plastic plugs that you use to put on the back that holds the spray nozzels busted off at the top they should send a spare. I did find one at the local Ace Hardware if this happens to you. I ran it for about 2.5 hours and never had a problem with restarting works great and I would recomend it

I would recommend this product to a friend.

one flaw

I just bought this Washer. Easy start. Good power. The one thing i didn't like was connections under the body. I know they all have it but would be more user friendly if you had quick connect for both inlet and outlet. Honda Eng. outstanding. Would recomend to a friend.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
