works like a charm!
This P/w Works As Advertised. Easy Assembly Instructions. The Two Reasons I Choose Good Over Excellent Rating Is The Following; I Did Not Like The Rubber Tie Straps To Hold Wand(Inverted) And The Other Is The Adjustable Nozzle. Don't Get Me Wrong, I Love The Adjustable Nozzle, It's The Settings, I Need A Stiffer Degree Than What's Offered And Zero Degree Is A Really Good Bubble Gum Remove Or Hole Bore- I Love This Machine Though

Good but with issues
My Craftsman pressure washer is still going after 18 years but the pressure is now not up to common tasks.. The B & S engine still starts first pull hot or cold and runs like a charm. I considered replacing the pump but with parts more than $150 I realized it was time to replace washer. On-line ordering and delivery went smoothly and I was able to put it through its paces within 5 days of making the purchase decision. My experience has been mixed and I am not yet sure I will keep it. Here are the Pros and Cons I have encountered with the first two tanks of gas. Pro: Does a great job cleaning - Brick, Vinyl Siding, Concrete sidewalk. Easy to assemble - Clear and illustrated instructions Starts easily when cold. Runs smoothly and I like the "Quiet Sense" that lets it run at idle except when the gun is activated. Smaller frame and bigger wheels than my 18 yo unit. Con: The "Ready Start" is anything but. When still quite hot, it will start after a dozen or so pulls. But multiple attempts are terribly inconvenient as the water pressure must be released after each attempt. If one leaves the engine to cool for about 10 minutes, it will NOT start. Investigation revealed that the "Ready Start" uses a thermostat to control the starting position of the throttle valve and the choke. When hot, both the throttle and the choke are held wide open. I am sure that it would start better if the throttle was reduced. The real problem is that once the thermostat senses that the unit is no longer very hot, it closes the throttle AND the choke. A warm engine quickly gets flooded when trying to start it. I did confirm this by having my wife hold the choke valve open while I pulled the starter and it started immediately. There is no place to store the assembled gun and wand. This is particular irksome when restarting as it is slow to start and the water pressure must be released after each attempt. The hose storage is almost useless. The angle of the handle is such that when returning the washer to storage, the hose will fall off at every bump. The 5-in-1 nozzle works OK but the wand on my original unit was more adjustable. But the real problem with this nozzle could also be a safety issue. When you lay it on the ground to start the pressure washer, it is possible to partially unlock the adjustable disk. The release stands proud of the nozzle and contact with the ground can push it in. While it still looks OK, the adjustment ring will pop out with a loud bang as soon as the gun is activated. In summary it is a solid, and hopefully still reliable pressure washer that does what it is supposed to do well. The "new features" and "improved design" have added nothing but problems. I realize that today's consumers do not want to know about chokes, throttle valves, etc., but if you are going to automate these functions, at least get it right. It actually takes more knowledge to figure out how to start it warm or simply wait two hours for cool down.

Power Washer

It has nice power. I was a little disappointed in the all-in-one nozzle. It is convenient but then didn't seem to work as well as my old Sprayer with individual nozzle heads. I am probably going to end up buying those nozzle tips, as I had before.

Great product, great price!

I needed something to clean my deck and the rest of my house when time allows. I was hesitant to purchase at first because I am on a budget being I just bought my home. I looked at other reviews and saw they were positive, so I took a shot and have not been disappointed. The mold and dirt was cleaned right off my deck with little resistance and the flooring underneath my deck was no longer a moss green but rather beige. I'm eager to see how it handle my aluminum siding once the weather gets better. Thank you Craftsman!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Hard to Start when warmed up.

II bought this and used it for three times. Each day I used it, it started right up when cold. But when I needed to stop it and then restart the engine it took about 20 pulls. I did follow the instructions to wait a bit and releasing the water pressure but it did not help. When It was running it worked great. It also uses a lot of fuel.
