Product Description

Pole Saw Attachment Smoothly Cuts Branches and Removes Debris

The Craftsman pole saw attachment connects to almost any attachment-capable gas trimmer.  This saw is great for cutting branches and removing debris beyond normal reach.   It can reach up to 11-ft with the extension pole.

An auto-oiler built into the pole saw attachment keeps it working at its best. The auto-oiler constantly lubricates the bar and chain for smooth and efficient performance time after time. Talk about dependability!  It's equipped with a glass nylon chain guard that keeps debris off your face and clothes while also protecting you from kickback.  Adjustments are infrequent thanks to the traditional screw tensioning system. Use the included storage hook to properly store and maintain the equipment. A 2-year warranty is included.

  • Craftsman pole saw attachment connects to almost any gas trimmer that is attachment capable
  • Flawlessly cuts branches and removes debris equal to the bar's 8 in. diameter; these branches and debris are normally beyond reach
  • Impressive 11-ft reach
  • Auto-oiler lubricates bar and chain for smooth, efficient performance
  • Contains a glass nylon chain guard to keep debris off your clothes and face and to reduce kickback
  • Traditional screw tensioning system reduces the number of adjustments necessary
  • Includes storage hook for proper storage and maintenance of equipment
  • 2-year warranty protection

Very happy
I've used this about 4 or 5 times on my 3 pieces of property. The property I bought has not been taken care of in YEARS. Branches from the trees growing/lying on the roofs. Small trees growing up against the foundation. Brush everywhere. Pros It's well made. It comes with a cool little green cover that snaps on and makes it easy to hang up and keep the shaft clean Cons I found the chain a little too tight The oiling system seemed to apply too little oil. (I'd rather waste oil than the ruin the chain or chain bar.) I used less than half a tank of oil for 4 hours of work. These are little issues that didn't take more than a few minutes to correct. The plastic chain guard (used for storage or transporting) doesn't stay on, I used a bungy to hold it on. All in all, this thing should last for years if taken care of. You can make your yard look like it pro did it! I've also used this attachment to de-limb and section cut trees I cut down with a chain saw. Easier on the old back! BE CAREFUL WEAR THE SAFETY GEAR Don't try to cut the whole thing in one cut. Cut small sections of the branch until you get to where you want it to be. Think about where the branch is going to fall, or swing...BEFORE YOU CUT Clear the area after a few cuts so you have some place to move without staggering over debris. Make sure the chain/bar gets plenty of oil

Dissapointed
Bought my crafstman weed eater in 08, just recently had some branches fall in the yard so I went and got the craftsman pole saw attachment. The kids at the store said sure it sould fit, its a universal attachment. Thinking I had a sears weed eater I figured I was all set. It dosent fit, my trimmer has a male output shaft, as does the input to the pole saw. Nobody at the store had no helpfull knowledge over the phone. Dosent seem like there is any adapters to make it fit either.

Very Good Saw

This is a very good saw that works well. The chain oiler works well and doesn't feed too much oil. The extension shaft is very handy to use with other attachments too.You can't go wrong with this saw for the price.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

my mistake

I bought pole saw attachment thinking it would fit my sears trimmer just like the guy in New York. Guess what?...mine also had two male ends on it, so I took it back to the store and they set me straight. Evidently you don't take the head off the trimmer!!....you just disconnect it in the middle of your trimmer...DUHHHHHH!!!!....low and behold there was a female end in there. I'm usually not that dense, but I was on that day. The pole saw works great with my 4 cycle trimmer....Thanks Sears..Mark

Overall
pole saw

if you go to the very end to saw, it is too top heavy and takes too much to work it. However, staying within guidelines it works very well

I would recommend this product to a friend.
