- When and how did you get into using tools/doing projects?
- I was pretty young when the "taking things apart" phase started. Putting things back together was a few years later!
- What do you do when you're not tinkering in the garage and working on other projects?
- Road trips, or I can be found smiling, shaking my head and helping out someone on their "quick" DIY project.
- What's the project you're most proud of?
- That's an easy one—construction of an outdoor living space for my parents 20 years ago. It is as solid as the day it was built.
- Any stories of DIY disaster?
- None that I would admit to; I refer to such things as a "design change".
- Why do you use Craftsman tools?
- In the past they have represented a great value; the warranty serving more as peace of mind than something to use or abuse.
- How did you get your DIY skills?
- My grandfathers and uncles ensured my survival while I was in the dismantling phase. My father and the rest of them got me headed down the DIY road.
- Anything you have to say to other craftsmen out there?
- Never get so busy on a project that you don't take the time to think about what it is you're doing.
