- When and how did you get into using tools/doing projects?
- I have used tools all my life. A quality tool can save you so much time. That's why I love Craftsman tools.
- What do you do when you're not tinkering in the garage and working on other projects?
- I am a freelance illustrator/motion graphic designer for national magazines/companies.
- What's the project you're most proud of?
- That would have to be the marionettes I make for a local children's marionette theater, which you can see here: http://www.merrynettes.com
- Any stories of DIY disaster?
- Early in my marionette-building history, I decided I wanted to make my marionettes completely out of wood like the old masters. What I didn't realize was that they built theirs at half the size I did. The puppeteers still curse my name when they have to do that show. :D
- Why do you use Craftsman tools?
- As I said before, they are quality tools and hardly ever break. But when they do, the lifetime warranty isn't bad either.
- How did you get your DIY skills?
- Prayer and hard work. I love building things with my hands, so the learning process is part of the love I have for what I do.
- Anything you have to say to other craftsmen out there?
- If you get half as much joy out of what you do as I do making marionettes, then you know you are blessed.
