I just bought this cart and used it this weekend to move 5 yards of topsoil. Worked perfect. I was able to tow it along my garden beds and swivel it the side to dump. The dumping mechanism is effortless to operate, yet sturdy to prevent accidental dumping. Very solid and sturdy construction. Heavy duty tires. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by how well made the cart is. Very easy to assembly.
I purchased this Craftsman 12.5 Cubic Foot trailer, 3 years ago, to work around my small .49 acre lot, moving dirt, plants, wood, trash, and other small yard items. The trailer dump cart borke at the back edges while hauling dirt in my back yard. The dump cart works fine, but you can't get all the dirt out of the cart unless you pull forward, scraping the back edge on the ground. If this is to be used as a dump cart, why didn't Sears build the cart to withstand the dumping of dirt or however you describe this function? I'm not satisfied with this product.
The tires are of very poor quality. I kept this cart inside my barn and the tires deflated because the rubber tires just cracked in 1.5 years. I had to purchase new tires from a tire dealer. Not happy
I have been looking for a cart for awhile at diffrent stores and the one at sears loodek to be the best one for the job. I use it in the orchard and around the house. could use thr tractor but it is alot easier with the Quad and trailer.
I sure have enjoyed my cart since I purchased it. I live on two and a half acres in the country. The cart fits on the back of my Craftsman lawn tractor. It is great for hauling brush and fire wood. My time is valuable and it has saved me hours.

this utility cart is easy to connect to the tractor - it is deep enough to haul tree limbs from the property to the street and big enough to mix all the grass seed and fertilizer. this was a great buy.
I had this Cart for two weeks. The second day after I brought it home I had a huge tree limb fall in my front yard! It handled all the debris, and heavy logs. I had to haul the logs up a hill to a "burn spot". It handled all the weight without any problems! The turn and dump feature was a life saver! If something should happen to the cart I would buy another in a heartbeat!

I bought this cart to go with my Craftsman YT3000 lawn tractor after doing a lot of research. At first I was very impressed by the ease of assembly and overall look of the cart but became concerned when I saw the connector pin that is used to connect to the tractor. The thin piece of metal was flimsy and not as tough and sturdy as the rest of the cart. I was moving dirt around my property and the top metal strap that holds the pin in place bent. The directions state 1200 lbs capacity but I only had 300 lbs in it. I'm very disappointed with this cheap and ****-poor construction of this part on the cart. I have since removed it and placed a bolt and washer to secure it to my tractor. The cart deserves and outstanding rating but only gets a fair rating due to this substandard part. By the way it only cost me $8.00 at ********** to fix this. Wish the manufacturer would have figured this out.
This is a solidly built cart, capable of the pretty much everything I have thrown at it. From large rocks to bags of cement, to hauling my four kids around the yard, nothing is too much for this to handle. I have loaded it with up to about 600 lbs of rocks so far, and it handled it pretty effortlessly. Assembly was tricky enough to drive a single person insane. But two people would make it effortless. I realized this fairly early on in the process and enlisted my 17-year old to hold the bolts while I positioned the V-frame and the nuts. Once I was past that point, the rest was a breeze. I did not have grease on me, so my assembly was completed without any on the axle, but it did not affect the performance. The cardboard box comes with a template for cutting out plywood partitions, so don?t discard it if you need that at some point. The cart body is watertight, so make sure not to leave it hitched to the tractor in the event of rain. It will retain all the water unless it?s left in an inclined position. 12.5 cu ft of water can be very, very heavy. The spring-loaded hitch is a terrific feature, as is the release latch. Much thought has gone into designing this cart, and it shows. Overall, I am so glad that I decided to spend a little extra and buy this over some of the other carts here.
This baby is a workhorse! We have been using it to haul all sorts of things, but mostly dirt, gravel, firewood and rocks. I love that it can swivel to put the load where you want it. I have been careful to not overload it and watch how I distribute the weight for easy dumping. This cart has been a great investment and a wonderful tool.
I love this cart Just the right size for me and can be extended in height with some pieces of lumber. I already used it to move a large amount of tree trimmings to the roadside for town pickup. Will test it later moving mulch to my grapevines and blueberries. I like the plastic for no rust and seems sturdy enough for my needs.
