How to Register a Product

Registering your CRAFTSMAN product helps prove ownership, ensures warranty coverage, and allows you to receive important updates and support. Follow the steps below to register your tool quickly and easily.

Step-by-Step Instructions

 

1. Visit craftsman.com


•    Go to craftsman.com.
•    In the top right corner, click "REGISTER A TOOL."
 

2. Sign In or Create an Account


•    If you already have a CRAFTSMAN account, sign in.
•    If you’re new, click "Create an account" and follow the prompts. You’ll receive a verification email to validate your account.
 

3. Register Your Product


•    Once logged in, click “Register a tool” in the top right corner.
•    Fill out the registration form with your product details:
     o    Model number (found on the tool or packaging)
     o    Serial number (on the tool label)
     o    Purchase date
     o    Place of purchase
 

4. Upload Proof of Purchase


•    For warranty eligibility, upload a copy or screenshot of your purchase receipt.
     o    For online purchases, ensure the screenshot includes: date of purchase, authorized retailer, paid amount, product name/SKU, and delivery date.
 

5. Submit Registration


•    Review your information and submit the form.
•    You’ll receive a confirmation email once your product is registered.
