Women in DIY
In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re highlighting the women of the #CRAFTSMANCrew who are building, fixing, and leading the way for future generations of DIYers—and the tools that help fuel their passion.
Sarah Randall @sarahellenrandall
“I have always loved transforming spaces. Once you overcome the fear and learn how to use a new tool, take a risk with a new paint color, or take a swing at building something from scratch, it's extremely empowering.”

Celebrating Women's History Month
"Women's History Month reminds me how grateful I am to live in a time when women can vote, have careers, and create our own paths - rights that generations before me fought hard to win. As someone who renovates her 1960's fixer-upper for a living and daily uses tools once considered 'for men,' I don't take that freedom for granted and hope to inspire other women to forge their own paths."

Jenna Townsend @touch.of.townsend
"I started DIY as a way to unplug and be creative. What began as furniture flipping turned into sharing what I learned to encourage other women to try it too. Now I love challenging myself with new tools and builds because there’s nothing better than finishing a project and feeling so proud!"
Jenna's advice
"Pick up the tool and go for it. You don’t have to know everything before you begin because the best way to learn and feel more confident is by doing. Every project teaches you something, even the mistakes!"
