More Efficient Motor
Brushless refers to a type of electric motor that does not use brushes for commutation (switching the current direction to keep the motor running). Instead, brushless motors use electronic controllers to switch the current direction.
Improved Performance
Can more readily allow higher speed or increased torque than a brushed motor, which can result in an improved user experience
Increased Runtime
Brushless motors are also more efficient, as they produce less heat and wasted energy, which translates to longer battery life and increased power output.
Reduced Weight
Brushless motors are smaller and lighter than brushed motors, which can reduce the weight of the overall tool.
This oscillating tool blew my mind. My brushed version was getting worn out and not working properly and of course I didn't want to plug in my other one so I was excited to get this brushless RP and I was amazed how fast it cut. I put it in everyone's hands that came over and the look on their face was priceless when they put it to some wood and pulled the trigger. TRIGGER thats right, a variable speed trigger. It's so nice compared to the on/off with a speed dial. This tool is the missing tool for every project and is the best one I've ever used by far. Love it.
