Product Description

The 4 Ton Lift Service Jack can handle almost anything.

Where other jacks might fail, the Craftsman High Lift Service Jack is bound to get the job done. When you need to lift a heavy vehicle, you want to be absolutely sure the jack can withstand the weight. Thankfully, this one has what it takes. This jack can handle up to 2 tons (8,000 pounds) of weight. It features a heavy-duty chassis that adds strength and durability, as well as an overload valve system to help prevent failure and to ensure safe operation.

This 4 Ton Lift Service Jack has a low profile design capable of lifting vehicles from 4 to 20 inches high. It's low enough for small sedans and many sports cars, but strong enough to life heavy vehicles like SUVs. Other heavy-duty jacks might be difficult to wield, but this one has rear casters that pivot 360 degrees for easy maneuverability. You'll be able to get the saddle in position much easier and with less effort.

  • Craftsman High Lift Service Jack has a large weight capacity of 4 tons (up to 8,000 pounds)
  • Low-profile design can be used with a wide array of vehicles like SUVs and other high-chassis vehicles
  • Lifting range from 4 to 20 inches high
  • Rear casters pivot 260 degrees
  • Heavy-duty chassis provides added strength and durability
  • Features an overload valve system that helps prevent equipment failure and provides safe operation
  • Includes jack, handle and manual
  • Backed by a 1-year warranty

Jack does it all
I received this jack as a gift and it does everything. We have a SUV and show cars with low clearance and this jack can handle it all. My freinds have borrowed my jack often and they love it as well.

Used 6 times. Seals failed. Have a Sears jack I bought 20yrs ago & still works good. The new one is no good. Really disapponted. Would give it no stars if I could.

Didn't work

Christmas gift from my wife, out of the box worked great. 2 months later went to jack up an axle on my Jeep and nothing. Tried with nothing on it and nothing. Called Sears, apparently mechanical items only have a 1yr warrantly on them not a life time. You have to have proof of the purchase date to return it within that year.

Broke after 4 uses.

I received this jack as a warranty exchange for the now discontinued aluminum low profile jack. At first it seemed great, nice sturdy design, kind of heavy, but hey if its strong who cares. However after just four uses the pivot mechanism for tightening the screw to raise the jack sheared off. The body of the jack could probably withstand falling off the roof of a two story building, but apply more than 10 ft-lbs to the handle when tightening it and it will fall apart like a cheap Chinese knock off. Craftsman is GREAT at replacing their broken products, but all their jacks seem to do just that, break. Now i'm stuck with a jack I hate and i'm going to spend more money to go get another jack from a different company. Warranty service: 10/10 Quality of this and the discontinued aluminum jack: 3/10 Verdict: Buy a cheaper craftsman jack of you are an occasional user, but for the more serious do-it-your-self-er, look elsewhere.

Sorry to say, but it's garbage

Fresh out of the box the jack was defected. The fram was bent. It would only sit on 3 wheels. Had to return it and my money back. After reading a the bad reviews didn;t want to risk it with an exchange.

Leaky

After reading all the reviews about this thing leaking I should've known better. It did last me four years or so, but today while jacking my car up it dumped a good cup of fluid all over the ground and dropped the car and now doesn't lift. I will see if I can refill it, but I'm guessing the seal(s) are blown now - I wonder if they can be replaced?

Jack failed after three years

Light duty use for changing brakes, exhaust on my personal cars. Seals failed and a rebuild kit was not available, that I could find. For the price, it should last 10-15 years at least with light duty / homeowner use.

Not good

Craftsman is going to have to get a whole lot better at making jacks, before I'll buy another. Used my jack less than ten times and the seals are bad. Wouldn't jack up the box it came in.

******** for home mechanics

Took the jack out of the box in my living room. Went outside and used it on my wifes Expedition, jacked it up with hardly any effort at all. Excellent buy.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
